Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed 3 medium golden delicious apples, cored, peeled and very thinly sliced 2 tbsp. melted butter 3 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 cup melted, strained apricot jam
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Unfold pastry on paper. Prick pastry all over with a fork except a 1/2 inch border all around. Arrange apples over pastry in 4 rows, overlapping slightly. Brush apples with melted butter. Stir together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over apples. Bake 30 minutes. Brush melted jam over apples and bake 8 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Serves 6 to 8.
