Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 can pumpkin 1 pound 13 ounces dash of salt 1 1/2 cup sugar 4 eggs 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon allspice 1/2 teaspoon cloves 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup water 1 cup whole milk 2 unbaked pie shells
Directions
Place pumpkin in large mixing bowl. Add salt, sugar. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Add ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Mix 1/2 cup evaporated milk with 1/2 cup water and add to pumpkin mixture. Add whole milk and mix. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Heat oven to 400 degrees and back for 20 to 25 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes or until set. Makes 2 pies.
