Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. finely grated orange peel 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup apple sauce 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree 1 large egg 1 large egg white 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13x9 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Combine flour, baking powder, orange peel, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. Combine sugar, apple sauce, pumpkin, egg, egg white and oil in a large bowl. Stir flour mixture into pumpkin mixture until well combined. Stir in raisins and spread batter in prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes in pan on a rack. Cut into bars.
Makes about 16 bars.
