Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup milk 4 large eggs 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2/3 cup all purpose flour 4 tbsp. butter 2 to 3 large golden delicious apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced 3 tbsp. brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Put butter in 13x9 glass baking dish. Place in oven until butter melts. Arrange apple slices in overlapping rows over melted butter. Bake until apples are slightly tender and butter is browning around edges, approx. 10 minutes. Pour batter over apples and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake until puffed and brown approximately 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
Makes 4 pancakes.
