Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups milk chocolate chips 1 tbsp. solid vegetable shortening 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup slivered almonds, chopped
Directions
Line a sheet pan with wax paper. Combine the milk chocolate chips and shortening in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove chocolate mixture from over water and stir in raisins and almonds. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared pan. Refrigerate until cookies are chilled and set. Keep cookies refrigerated until ready to serve.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
