Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 pork loin chops, each 1 inch thick 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. butter 1 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup cider vinegar 6 tbsp. maple syrup 10 tbsp. brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Season pork with salt and pepper. Coat pork with flour, shaking off excess. Heat butter in a skillet. Add pork and brown on both sides. Transfer pork to roasting pan and roast 20 minutes. Pour off drippings from skillet. Add vinegar and bring to a boil, scraping bottom of pan. Add syrup. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Preheat broiler. Coat top of pork with brown sugar. Broil until dark brown and glazed. Serve with sauce.
Serves 4.
