Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. white wine 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1/3 cup champagne vinegar 3/4 cup sugar 3 tbsp. minced shallot 1 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1 cup olive oil
Directions
Whisk together wine and mustard and let sit 10 minutes. Whisk in vinegar, sugar, shallot, poppy seeds, salt and pepper. Gradually drizzle in oil, whisking continuously. until thickened. Refrigerate, tightly covered, at least 4 hours before serving.
Makes approx. 2 cups.
