Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup light corn syrup 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 pounds ripe fresh plums, pitted and quartered 1 1/4 cups buttermilk baking mix 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts 1/3 cup milk 1/4 cup sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Stir together corn syrup, cornstarch and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add plums and toss to combine. Spoon mixture into an 8x8 inch baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together buttermilk baking mix, nuts, milk and sugar in a small bowl. Stir about 20 strokes. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture over the hot plums. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until topping is crisped and lightly browned. Cool cobbler slightly before serving.
Serves 6.
