Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup canned pineapple tidbits, drained 1 cup sliced beets 1 tbsp. margarine 1 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
Stir together sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan. Add pineapple tidbits and heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes, stirring, until thickened. Add beets, butter and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.
Serves 2 to 4.
