Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 new york strips 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. cracked black pepper 1/3 cup brandy 1 1/2 cups cream
Directions
Sprinle both sides of new yorks with salt. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. pepper over 1 side of steak, press lightly to adhere. Repeat with other side. Heat a cast iron skillet. Add meat and sear on both sides. Finish in oven. Remove pan from flame and add brandy, cream, pinch salt and a pinch pepper. Let boil until thickened. Spoon over steaks.
Serves 2.
