Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 slices bacon 10 3/4 ounce can chicken broth 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1/4 cup white vinegar 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/4 cup sliced green onions 1/2 tsp. celery salt 1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce 6 cups cooked potato slices
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels. Pour off all but 1/4 cup of the pan drippings. Whisk together flour and chicken broth in a small bowl until smooth. Stir into pan drippings. Add vinegar, brown sugar, green onions, celery salt and tabasco. Cook, stirring over medium-high heat until thickened. Arrange potato slices in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Pour broth mixture over potatoes. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Crumble bacon over potatoes and serve hot.
Serves 4 to 6.
