Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup sugar 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter, cut into 4 pieces, room temperature 2 large egg whites 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups chunky peanut butter 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda five 2.1 ounce Butterfinger candy bars, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Beat together both sugars, butter, egg whites and vanilla in a large bowl until fluffy. Add peanut butter and beat 20 seconds. Add flour, baking soda and salt and beat just until blended. Stir in chopped Butterfingers. Mound 1 1/2 tbsp. dough, 2 inches apart, on prepared pans. Flatten slightly with fingertips. Bake about 15 minutes until centers are still slightly soft and edges are dry. Cool cookies 3 minutes on pans. Transfer cookies to a rack and cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Makes about 32 cookies.
