6 tbsp. softened butter 6 tbsp. creamy peanut butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup grape jelly
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the inside of a 9 inch square baking pan with foil. Beat together butter, peanut butter and brown sugar in a large bowl about 2 minutes until fluffy. Beat in egg. Stir in flour and salt until a dough just forms. Set aside 1 cup dough. Press remaining dough evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread jelly evenly over dough. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup dough over jelly. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until top is golden. Transfer pan to a rack and cool completely. Cut into bars.
