Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
4 slices white bread, about 1 inch thick
3 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
Arrange bread slices in an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Beat together eggs, milk, sugar and salt until foamy. Pour over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Arrange bread slices on a greased baking sheet. Bake about 8 minutes per side until golden brown. Sift powdered sugar over and serve immediately.
