Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 pounds beef round steak, about 3/4 inches thick, cut into 10 portions 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 3 tbsp. dried minced onion 3/4 cup catsup 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat in a large skillet with oil. Transfer meat to a dutch oven or large baking pan. Add onion, catsup, water, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire, salt and pepper to skillet. Heat to a simmer. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over meat. Cover and bake 2 hours until meat is tender.
