Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 large eggs 1 cup orange juice 1 tsp. finely grated orange peel eight 1 inch thick slices of french bread 4 tbsp. butter powdered sugar orange marmalade
Directions
Beat together eggs, orange juice and peel in a medium bowl. Arrange bread slices in a 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight. Melt 2 tbsp. butter in a large skillet. Add bread to pan in batches and cook until golden brown, adding more butter as needed. Transfer to plates. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with marmalade.
Serves 4.
