Olive Garden Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Cheesecake Crust: 2 tbsp. melted margarine 2 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
Filling: 2 pounds cream cheese, softened 1 cup sugar 4 large eggs 1 tsp. all purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup sour cream 1 pound purchased prepared chocolate chip cookie dough 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Topping: 2 cups heavy or whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks chocolate chips chopped walnuts
Directions
For Crust: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease the bottom and sides of a 10 inch springform pan. Stir together the melted margarine and cookie crumbs until evenly moistened. Press into the bottom and sides of pan.
For Filling: Beat together cream cheese, sugar, eggs and flour in a large bowl until smooth. Add vanilla and sour cream and mix until just blended. Pour half of the filling into the prepared crust. Cut chocolate chip cookie dough into golf ball size pieces and drop into filling. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Pour remaining filling over chocolate chips. Bake cheesecake 1 hour. Turn off oven and leave door ajar. Let cheesecake sit in the oven for 30 minutes. Refrigerate at least 6 hours until chilled. Remove pan sides and top with whipped cream, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
Makes one 10 inch cheesecake.
