Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 large egg yolk 2 cups all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 cups white chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups salted mixed nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla and egg yolk in a large bowl. Stir in flour and salt. Press dough evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake 25 minutes until lightly browned. Sprinkle white chocolate chips over top. Let stand until softened, about 5 minutes. Spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts over melted chocolate and press gently to adhere. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
Makes about 32 bars.
