Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves(about 1 1/2 pounds total) 1 tbsp. melted butter 1 1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup dark molasses, divided
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Flatten chicken breasts slightly with the smooth side of a meat mallet. Brush melted butter over chicken. Press pepper into both sides of chicken. Sprinkle chicken with salt. Transfer seasoned chicken to a baking dish. Roast chicken 10 minutes. Spoon 2 tbsp. molasses over chicken breasts. Roast 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and spoon on remaining molasses. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Serves 4.
