Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup beef broth, divided 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats 1 1/4 pound lean ground beef 1/2 cup minced onion 1 large egg 5 tbsp. coarse-grain Dijon mustard, divided 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Stir together 1/2 cup broth and oats in a medium bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in beef, onion, egg, 3 tbsp. mustard, salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to a lightly greased loaf pan and form into a loaf. Bake meatloaf until browned and cooked through, about 30 to 40 minutes. Stir together remaining 1/4 cup broth and 2 tbsp. mustard in a small bowl. Pour over top of meatloaf and bake 5 minutes. Let meatloaf stand 5 minutes before slicing.
Serves 4 to 6.
