Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 pounds yukon gold potatoes, peeled and halved 1 1/2 cups milk 6 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. whole grain or coarse grain mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper
Directions
Place potatoes in a large pot with cold water to cover. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 to 40 minutes until potatoes are tender. Drain potatoes and transfer to a large bowl. Melt butter with milk in a small saucepan. Add milk mixture to potatoes along with mustard, salt and pepper. Mash potatoes until smooth and creamy.
Serves 6 to 8.
