Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 large shallot, minced 8 ounces sliced mushrooms 1 small onion, sliced 1/4 cup butter 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 ground beef patties 4 hamburger buns 4 lettuce leaves 1/2 cup prepared garlic-herb cream cheese, room temperature
Directions
Cook shallot with butter until tender, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until tender, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. Grill hamburger patties to desired doneness. Place lettuce leaf on bottom of each bun. Spread each leaf with 1 tbsp. cream cheese mixture. Top with grilled burger. Spread 1 tbsp. cream cheese over. Top with mushroom mixture and onion slices. Cover with bun tops.
Makes 4 burgers.
