Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 boneless pork chops, each about 3/4 inches thick 1 tbsp. butter or margarine 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms 1 tbsp. butter or margarine 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion 1 large egg 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 3 tbsp. grated cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet brown pork on both sides in 1 tbsp. butter. Reserve chops. Add mushrooms and 1 tbsp. butter to skillet and cook until most of liquid is evaporated. Cool. Stir in parsley, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Place mixture on top of pork. Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over pork and bake 10 minutes.
Serves 4.
