Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 large eggs 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1 tbsp. melted butter 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease six 2/3 cup popover tins or nine 1/2 cup muffin tins. Whisk together eggs, milk and water in a medium bowl to blend. Whisk in butter, flour and salt. Mix until blended-batter will still be slightly lumpy. Divide batter among prepared tins and bake 45 minutes. Cut a slit on top of each popover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
Makes 6 to 9 popovers.
