Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
8 ounces ground Italian sausage
8 ounces ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
3 1/3 cups buttermilk baking mix
3/4 cup cold water
3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
15.5 ounce jar pizza sauce

Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease the inside of a 13x9 inch baking dish. Combine sausage, ground beef, onion and green pepper in a large skillet. Cook over medium high heat until meat is browned, stirring frequently. Drain the fat from the skillet. Stir together the baking mix and water in a large bowl until a dough forms. Divide the dough in 1/2. Transfer 1/2 of the dough to a floured surface and roll into a 16x14 inch rectangle. Flour the rolling pin and roll up the dough onto the pin. Unroll the dough into the prepared dish and press into the bottom and up sides. Sprinkle 1 cup of the Mozzarella over the bottom of the dough. Spoon 3/4 cup of the pizza sauce over the Mozzarella. Sprinkle the meat mixture over the sauce. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella evenly over the meat. Roll the remaining dough 1/2 into a 13x9 inch rectangle. Roll the dough up on a rolling pin. Unroll the dough over the top of the baking dish. Press the edges of the top and bottom dough together to seal. Cut several small slits in the top crust. Spread the remaining pizza sauce over the top crust and sprinkle with the remaining Mozzarella. Bake pizza 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden. Let pizza stand a few minute before slicing and serving.

Serves 6 to 8.
