Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 3/4 cups milk, divided 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup sugar 6 ounces chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate 12 ice cubes
Directions
Combine 3 cups milk, water and sugar in a large saucepan. Heat to a simmer, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove pan from heat and add chopped chocolate. Whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate about 4 hours until chocolate is cold. Whisk remaining 3/4 cup milk into chocolate mixture. Transfer mixture in batches to a blender and blend until frothy. Place 3 ice cubes in each of 4 glasses. Pour chocolate over ice cubes and serve.
Serves 4.
