49 unwrapped caramels 3 tbsp. water 5 cups crispy rice or toasted oat cereal 1 cup peanuts 6 ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels 6 ounce package butterscotch morsels
Directions
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Combine caramels and water in a large saucepan. Melt over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Combine cereal and peanuts in a large bowl. Pour melted caramel over cereal and toss until well coated. With greased hands, press the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Sprinkle semisweet and butterscotch morsels over the top. Bake about 5 minutes until morsels are partially melted. Spread softened morsels to blend and form a frosting. Cool completely.
