1 cup crushed corn flake cereal
8 cups peeled, sliced apples
1 cup sugar

2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 to 2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions
For Crust:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together flour and salt in a medium bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in yolk and milk with a fork until a ball forms. Divide dough in half. For Topping:
Stir egg white with a fork in a small bowl until foamy. Brush over top crust. Stir together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle over crust. Bake 45 to 60 minutes until crust is golden brown.
