Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 large egg, beaten to blend 1 cup coarsely crumbled saltine crackers(about 20 crackers) 1/4 cup milk 2 tbsp. minced onion 1 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1 pound lean ground beef 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions
Combine egg, 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, milk, onion, chili powder, salt and worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Add beef and mix well. Shape into six 1/2 inch thick patties. Coat with remaining 1/2 cup cracker crumbs. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add patties and cook about 3 minutes per side until cooked through.
Serves 6.
