Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup sugar 2 cups chopped fresh mint 15 ounces bourbon (or to taste) crushed ice fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Makes 10 drinks.
Directions
Bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in chopped mint and let stand 2 to 4 hours. Strain, pressing on solids. Cool syrup.
For each drink: Fill 10 ounce glass 3/4 full with ice. Add 2 Tbsp. syrup and 1 1/2 ounces bourbon. Stir. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
