Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk
2 large eggs, beaten to blend
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. cold unsalted butter, diced

Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl. Stir in oil, milk and eggs until evenly moistened. Pour batter into an ungreased 8 inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Dot butter over the top. Bake about 50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.

Serves 4 to 6.
