Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 cups water 1 cup dry white wine 6 slices lemon 3 stalks celery, chopped 2 medium carrots, sliced 1 medium onion, sliced into rings 6 black peppercorns 1 sprig fresh parsley 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dry thyme 4 fish fillets, 1 to 2 inches thick
Directions
Combine water, wine, lemon, celery, carrot, onion, peppercorns, parsley, salt and thyme in a 2 quart baking dish. Cover and microwave on high for 15 minutes. Strain and return liquid to baking dish. Add fish, spooning liquid over top. Cover and cook on high until fish turns white, approx. 5 minutes.
Serves 4.
