Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound lean ground beef 16 ounce can refried beans 2 tsp. dried oregano 1 tsp. ground cumin 3/4 tsp. garlic powder 12 uncooked lasagna sheets 2 1/2 cups water 2 1/2 cups prepared picante sauce 2 cups sour cream 3/4 cup finely sliced green onions 2 ounce can sliced black olives, drained 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Combine ground beef, refried beans, oregano, cumin and garlic powder in a large bowl and mix well. Layer 4 lasagna sheets in the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread half of beef mixture evenly over noodles. Layer 4 more sheets lasagna over beef, pressing down lightly. Spread remaining beef mixture evenly over noodles. Top with remaining lasagna sheets, pressing down lightly. Stir together water and picante sauce in a medium bowl. Pour mixture over lasagna. Cover and bake about 90 minutes until noodles are tender. Remove lasagna from oven and uncover. Spoon sour cream over top. Sprinkle evenly with green onions, olives and Monterey Jack. Bake 5 minutes, uncovered, until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 12.
