Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 2 cups chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 16 ounces canned refried beans 7 ounce can diced green chiles, drained 7 ounce jar salsa, drained 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Brown beef with onions and oil. Drain. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon 1/2 of beans into a 9x13 glass baking dish. Top with 1/2 of beef mixture, then 1/2 of chiles, 1/2 of salsa and 1/2 of cheddar. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake dip until heated through and cheese is melted, about 30 minutes. Garnish with sour cream, chopped green onion and sliced olives. Serve with chips or tortilla wedges.
