Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup orange marmalade 1/4 cup apple juice 1/4 cup water 1/4 tsp. salt pinch ground allspice 3 whole dried cloves four boneless pork loin chops, about 6 to 8 ounces each 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions
Stir together the marmalade, apple juice, water, salt, allspice and cloves in a small bowl. Place pork chops in a shallow baking dish and pour marmalade mixture over. Turn chops to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Drain pork marinade into a medium saucepan and heat to a boil. Boil 2 minutes. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chops to skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Pour hot marinade into skillet and return to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes until pork is cooked through, turning once. Transfer chops to a plate and tent with foil. Boil pan sauce until reduced by half. Uncover chops, spoon sauce over and serve immediately.
Serves 4.
