Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 tbsp. maple syrup 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 cups canned or frozen, thawed peas 1 cup canned or frozen, thawed sliced carrots 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted
Directions
Combine maple syrup, butter and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Cook until thick and syrupy, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables and stir until well coated. Cook vegetables until heated through. Sprinkle the walnuts over the vegetables and serve.
Serves 4.
