1 1/3 cups dry elbow macaroni 1 1/2 cups heavy or whipping cream 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 cup grated Fontina cheese 1/4 cup grated Gouda cheese 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup grated smoked cheddar cheese 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
Directions
Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water until just done. Drain well. Preheat broiler. Butter a 6 to 8 cup broiler-proof baking dish. Combine cream and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat to a boil. Boil mixture 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and add cooked macaroni, Fontina, Gouda, mozzarella, cheddar, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until mixture is melted and smooth.
