Kids Favorite Easy Cheesy Breakfast Sausage Puffs

Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
12 ounce package breakfast sausage links 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough 5 slices American or Cheddar cheese, cut into thirds
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook sausage links in a large skillet until done. Transfer sausage links to paper towels to drain. Open and unroll crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into 14 triangles. Place 1 strip of the cheese and 1 cooked sausage link onto the wide end of each dough triangle. Roll up dough, starting at the wide end. Place the dough packages, seam side down, on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until dough is puffed and golden brown. Serve puffs immediately.
Makes 14 breakfast puffs.
