Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 cups sugar 3/4 cup melted butter 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 3 large eggs 3/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt pumpkin shaped cookie cutter prepared vanilla frosting orange paste food coloring green and black cake decorating gel
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a greased 13x9 inch baking pan with greased wax paper. Combine sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat in eggs until well combined. Sift together the flour, baking powder and cocoa. Stir in salt. Gradually add to egg mixture. Transfer batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 18 to 22 minutes until brownies start to pull away from pan sides. Cool completely. Invert brownies and remove from pan. Peel off wax paper. Turn brownies right side up. Cut out shapes with cookie cutter. Frost tops of brownies. Pipe green gel to form the pumpkin stems. Use black gel to make the pumpkin faces.
Makes about 12 brownies.
