Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
3 cups cold water
2 cups hot water
food coloring

Directions
Paint Base:
Whisk together flour, salt and cold water in a medium saucepan until smooth. Whisk in hot water. Heat mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil until mixture is clear. Strain mixture into a medium bowl and cool to room temperature.

To Tint Finger Paint:
Add 3/4 cup desired color food coloring to each cup of paint base.

Makes about 7 cups finger paint.
