Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dried oregano 1 cup canned tomato sauce, divided 1 1/2 cups canned red kidney beans, drained 1/2 tsp. chili powder 3 slices Mozzarella cheese, cut into strips
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Stir together ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, oregano and 1/2 cup tomato sauce in a large bowl. Spread the beef mixture evenly on the bottom of a 10 inch ungreased pizza pan. Pour remaining 1/2 cup tomato sauce over the beef and spread to within 1 inch of edges. Spread the kidney beans over the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with the chili powder. Lay the Mozzarella strips in a criss cross pattern on top of pizza. Bake pizza 20 minutes. Let pizza stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Serves 4 to 6.
