Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 chicken drumsticks 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 tbsp. chili powder 2 tsp. ground cumin 1 cup prepared chili sauce 1/4 cup dark molasses 3 tbsp. cider vinegar 2 tbsp. orange juice 2 tsp. finely grated orange peel
Directions
Prepare grill. Season drumsticks with salt and pepper. Place chili powder and cumin in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring, 1 minute over medium heat. Stir in chili sauce, molasses, vinegar, orange juice and peel. Reduce heat and simmer sauce about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Place chicken on an oiled grill rack. Grill drumsticks 12 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush half of the sauce over chicken. Grill chicken an additional 15 minutes until cooked through and crispy. Serve chicken immediately with remaining sauce for dipping.
