Steak: 1/3 cup frozen, thawed orange juice concentrate 3 tbsp. vegetable oil 3 tbsp. honey 1 tbsp. sliced green onion 2 tsp. spicy brown mustard 1/4 tsp. dried mint leaves dash Tabasco sauce 1 1/2 pounds boneless beef sirloin steak
Relish: 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped apple 1/2 cup chopped pear 1/2 cup peeled, chopped peach 1/4 cup chopped celery 2 tbsp. sliced green onion 2 tsp. lemon juice
Directions
For Steak: Stir together the orange juice concentrate, oil, honey, green onion, mustard, mint and Tabasco sauce in a small bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for the relish. Place the sirloin steak in a shallow baking dish. Pour the marinade over the steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate steak 12 to 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Prepare grill. Remove the sirloin steak from the marinade. Reserve marinade. Place steak on an oiled grill rack. Grill steak about 6 to 8 minutes per side or to desired doneness, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Serve steak with the fruit relish.
For Relish: Stir together the reserved 1/4 cup marinade, red pepper, apple, pear, peach, celery, green onion and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serves 4 to 6.
