Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Sauce: 12 ounces beer 1/2 cup chili sauce 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. dijon mustard 1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce 1/8 tsp. liquid smoke 1/2 cup coarse chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, crushed
Steak: 3 pounds beef sirloin steak, 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
For Sauce: Mix together beer, chili sauce, oil, soy sauce, dijon, tabasco, liquid smoke, onion and garlic in a large saucepan. Simmer 30 minutes.
For Steak: Preheat grill. Season steak with salt and pepper. Grill about 4 inches from coals, basting frequently with sauce, to desired doneness. Serve with remaining sauce on the side.
Serves 6 to 8.
