Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
8 tbsp. butter, divided 2/3 cup chopped red onion 2 large cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 tsp. dried sage 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 4 Sirloin or T-bone steaks, about 8 to 10 ounces each 1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
Directions
Melt 6 tbsp. butter in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add onion, garlic, sage and red pepper flakes. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining 2 tbsp. butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low. Grill steaks about 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Sprinkle Parmesan shavings over top of steaks and grill an additional 1 minute. Divide steaks between plates and spoon the butter sauce over. Serve steaks immediately.
Serves 4.
