Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 3 tbsp. sweet paprika 1 1/2 tbsp. ground cumin 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 3 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 8 halibut fillets, about 4 to 5 ounces each
Directions
Combine garlic, paprika and cumin in a small bowl. Stir in lemon juice, olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper to form a paste. Place halibut fillets in a 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Rub the spice paste all over the halibut. Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours.
Prepare grill. Remove halibut fillets from refrigerator and transfer to an oiled grill rack. Sprinkle halibut with remaining 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Grill halibut about 3 minutes per side until just cooked through. Serve immediately.
Serves 8.
