Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup peeled, minced fresh ginger 2 tbsp. rice vinegar 1 tbsp. minced fresh garlic 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
Directions
Stir together soy sauce, vegetable oil, ginger, rice vinegar, garlic and pepper in a large bowl. Add the flank steak to the bowl and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate steak 1 hour, turning occasionally. Prepare grill.
Remove the steak from the marinade and place on an oiled grill rack. Grill steak about 8 minutes for medium rare. Transfer grilled steak to a cutting board and let stand 5 minutes. Slice flank steak thinly, against the grain, and serve.
Serves 4.
