Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 cup prepared chili sauce 2 green onions, thinly sliced 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. water 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. ground allspice 2 to 2 1/2 pound chicken pieces
Directions
Stir together chili sauce, green onions, jalapeno, garlic, vegetable oil, lemon juice, water, salt, ginger and allspice in a small bowl. Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Preheat grill. Place chicken on an oiled grill rack. Grill over medium coals. Cover and grill chicken 25 minutes. Brush chicken pieces liberally with sauce. Grill an additional 10 minutes, brushing frequently with sauce.
Serves 4 to 6.
