Recipe submitted by chefdude7263

Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound ground venison
8 ounces ground sweet Italian sausage
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 large egg
1 cup Burgundy wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. finely grated orange peel

Directions
Prepare grill. Mix together venison, Italian sausage, ground beef, egg and wine in a large glass bowl. Place a large square of heavy duty foil on a flat surface. Place the meatloaf mixture in the center of the foil and form into a 1 inch thick, 3x4 inch rectangle. Season the meatloaf with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the meatloaf with the orange peel. Roll the meat onto a cylinder. Wrap tightly in the aluminum foil. Transfer meatloaf to the grill. Cover and grill 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. Lower the heat and grill meatloaf an additional 30 minutes, turning every 5 to 10 minutes, until the meatloaf reaches 165 degrees. Remove meatloaf from the grill and transfer to a cutting board. Let meatloaf stand 5 minutes before unwrapping and slicing.

Serves 4 to 6.
