Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 pounds ground beef 1 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped 2 large eggs, beaten to blend 3/4 cup beef broth 1/4 cup dry red wine 3 tbsp. tomato paste 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. steak sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, broth, wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire, steak sauce, pepper and salt in a large bowl. Mix well. Pack the meatloaf mixture into the prepared pan. Bake 1 hour.
Pour off the pan juices and let meatloaf stand 5 minutes before removing from the pan and slicing. Serve hot.
Serves 6 to 8.
